"In my recent work I have found it exciting to make large pieces of embroidery, enabling them to be used as bedcovers or a hanging. As in a traditional quilt, in these pieces I have used found embroideries as my focal point and tried to use recycled materials."

Local artist, Louise Parsons, holds a BA Hons in surface pattern and has been part of Somerset Arts Week for the last nine years.
